Heres to you!
They had settled in a bar in the middle of nowhere.
Heres to you, Tav! Mushu repeated and lowered his mug again. He had gotten himself something to drink, since he felt dry and dusty all over. Tav had gone for some salty crackers instead, but she was clearly not amused.
This is inferior, she snarled at the snacks.
Mushu looked up at her, fighting away a chuckle. In a way Tav was hilarious when she did that.
And you are too great for that.
I am indeed, she confirmed, not noticing the hint of sarcasm in the dragons voice.
He shrugged absentmindedly stirring his drink. He tried his best to make it up to her.
She had saved his life.
As an assassin.
He had failed at protecting her.
As a guardian.
The dragon frowned. Of course he was not bond to her, but that really shouldnt make a difference.

Because you are such a woman! Mushu laughed, his eyes still kept covered.
The reaction he had gotten was quite a different than he had expected. Actually, the little dragon had thought, that Mulan would hate it to be compared with a woman, just because she was a heroine for fighting for her own will and disobeying the rules. Since the very first moment in the battlefield Mushu hadnt seen a woman in Mulan anymore. Of course he knew that she wasnt a man. To him she was neither of both. To him she was simply a good friend.
And just by the way
No one takes that long! Mushu shouted at the door, What are you doing in there?
Good things dont come easy! it sounded out of the room, but the tune was muted by the door.
The dragon only shook his head. It was way too often he had to listen to th
