Remorse...
Pain...
He didn’t know what was actually worse.
Poisen still sat in his corner exhausted and shaking, resting the head in his hands. Was that fever? By Polokus, please no...
He thought about what happened today. Actually he had no idea what happened at all. He didn’t feel well. He was a lonewolf, but that isolation drove him crazy nontheless.
< “What is it!?!” >
He still heard himself shouting... it wasn’t like him to shout... but it was that isolation that drove him crazy... and that pain in his back.
< “What is it? I want to know it! And I want to know it NOW!” >
Poisen cringed when he thought back at this. He didn’t even want to, but his mind seemed to be mad at him. Yeah... stupid conscience. He didn’t even have something like that a few years ago.
He just couldn’t get the scared look of the Fairy out of his head.
< “I… it’s a we don’t know.” >
< “Then what does this thing do? I want it gone!” >
Really… who was the one that had need to be afraid? Him? No…
He still saw the fairy backing away.
< “You won’t like that” >
Poisen closed his eyes.
A virus…
A highly infective one...
< “Well, then cure it!” >
< “We’re working on it... it’s an unknown virus.” >
< “But you do know about it, don’t you?!” >
He had turned away from her, before he would do something stupid, but he could hear the fairy’s whimpering.
< “Can’t you just rip it off?” >
He had tried to sound as calm as possible, but somhow... failed with that.
< “As strange as this might sound now... but this spell-block saves your live.” >
< “...What?” >
< “Since you can’t do magic now, your mana works like really strong body’s defenses... so that... you don’t die too early.” >
He was going to die...
Everybody had to...
But why... that way?
He started to wonder were he would end up.
Heaven?
Hell?
He didn’t want to go to hell.
He closed his eyes again.
He couldn’t remember what happened after that and something deep inside of him was happy about hat. But still... that fairy, the fear in its eyes, bothered him even more than that excruciating pain. He looked up again. Now he was also getting a headache! Maybe he shouldn’t think about that fairy... or the virus... or anything else. Maybe he should sleep a while...
He leaned against the wall, sliding down and looking upon the ceiling... where a gangrenous spot was. How did THAT come there? He looked around seeming a little paniced. There were also some red blotchs on the floor.
Blood?
But...
He looked up and down until his headache started to get worse. Eventually he came up with the idea to check his torso.

The spell-block
It was broken.
